This school has a friendly country atmosphere and a wonderful sense of community, attributes we value and strive to retain.
The past few years have seen a period of growth and change for Dayboro State School, with over 2.7 million dollars spent on new buildings and updating classrooms. A new library and hall, opened in 2010, have provided wonderful additions to our school facilities. The effort of our P & C has resulted in air conditioning and interactive whiteboards in all classrooms.
The school motto "Cultivating Knowledge" echoes our rural and agricultural roots. It is as fitting today as in the past as the staff at Dayboro strive to develop a thirst for learning that grows within each child. Our school benefits from a highly enthusiastic and skilled staff, supportive community and fabulous students. There is a high level of pride in Dayboro reflected in our standards of academic and sporting performance, behaviour and active citizenship.
