A MESSAGE FROM THE P & C ASSOCIATION

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to Dayboro State School. We hope that your association with school will be happy and fulfilling for your children and family.

The P & C Association is an active organisation, committed to improving the school in various ways.

The P & C is responsible for the Uniform Shop, Tuckshop and Outside Hours School Care servies. Volunteer committees run all of these services to provide services at a low and accessible cost to all the school community. We also have committees for fundraising and band. The P & C is committed to providing the best service that we can for our children with the resources available to us. We actively fundraise throughout the year to be able to provide extra equipment, books, computers and other assorted things to meet the expanding needs of the school community.

Dayboro School is very much an integral part of the Dayboro community. We encourage all famililes to participate in school events and become involved with their children's educational environment. Volunteering to help at our tuckshop, assisting at the working bees and fundraising events and helping in classrooms, are all excellent ways to support your school. If you are a new resident to the district or a first time parent of the school, this is a fantastic way to meet fascinating and interesting people in the community. Helping your school helps your children.

The P & C Association meet on the 2nd Monday of the month in the school staffroom at 6:30pm. These are friendly meetings that discuss the management of the various services and committees we are responsible for, how we will spend our fundraising dollars and other school issues.
