Carolyn Male attended our school assembly on Wednesday November 18 to officially open the multi-purpose court. The court was refurbished at the beginning of the year with the assistance of a Minor Facilities Grant provided by the Queensland Government.

On Thursday November 26, students and staff at Dayboro were treated to a traditional sit-down Christmas lunch provided by our wonderful Tuckshop conveners and volunteer parents. Mrs Taylor wanted to share the Christmas cheer with all of our school community on the last day of tuckshop for 2009. Mrs Taylor addressed the crowd, reminding us that we are like one big family at our school.

In the past week, a total of 10 Interactive Whiteboards or Fixed projector & screen installations were completed across the campus, from Prep - Year 7. These were funded out of the NSP project as well as subsidised by the P&C and Dayboro Apex. This exciting new teaching and learning technology has been enthusiastically adopted by teachers & students. All staff will receive PD on Interactive Whiteboards in the next couple of weeks. The steel framework for the new hall is currently going up, as are the steel posts for the new library building. Students and staff are taking a keen interest in the progress of these buildings and all the associated trucks, cranes and other construction machinery at our school.
